I've had COH for quite a while and have played it online with friends or random people online without any issues.  I got EF when it came out and have played it quite a bit online with a friend.  However sometimes, like tonight, when we play a game online together, after a while the game will quit on us.  I'll get a message saying that he dropped and the AI took over, and he'll get a message saying I dropped and the AI took over.  Then we've tried playing the unmodded game and we get the same issue.  I've never seen this before and it's really annoying.  Is this happening to everyone else, and is there a fix in the works?  Thanks.

I doubt that has anything to do with the game. I have had the same problem because I play over wifi and all it takes for the game to stop just a second of missed connection. So more than likely you computer has intermittent (sp?) internet unnoticable to you but enough for the game to freak out.

Me and my friend tried a lot of different stuff and I think we figured it out...we both have the Steam version of the game and we did a "verify local files" thing and for both of us it said that a file was missing and had to be installed.  After that it worked fine again.  I think it might be because we were using xfire for voice chat and it does a lot of unnecessary stuff like integrating itself into games and trying to update them and I think it might have messed up some files, either that or Steam didn't install the game right.

So hopefully it was nothing to do with the EF mod.  Or maybe something about our internet connections cleared up overnight.
