Hello i have another idea for the game and that's a use of bayonette, only units which had an rifles could use it (kar 98,mosin nagant,svt40.gewehr 43) it works just like in Age of empires III with musketeers they firing with rifles and when you switch them they not shooting but killing with bayonettes all you need is to be close to some enemy units you switch your troops and they start to running a little bit and killing everybody whose near (their also more vulnerable just like when repairing or capturing points but bayonettes are more deadly) so what do you thing? they can also speak something when their fighting with bayonettes some battle cry...

Atleast in AOE, there were ome melee units, which made close, hand-to-hand combat possible. The units in this game are all rigged for gunfights.

Yeah bayonets would be extremely cool...i can imagine conscript charges to enemy lines with bayonets.;D The main problem is that in CoH i think are none close combat animations and the devs will need to make them from scrap and that would be extremely difficult. But maybe, just maybe they could use some animations from Dawn of War or Dawn of War II after all it uses the same engine and its from the same developers, though i will not count on that much...anyway a nice imagination.
