After the patch
« on: January 25, 2010, 06:51:06 PM »
I played the EF Mod after I downloaded the patch, and its very close to being balanced. In my opinion, the IS2 still needs to be limited to at least two, other than that its very close to being done. Great job guys.

The ISU-2 is fresh meat for paks, schrecks and heavy tanks. If a player gets more than two it means that you haven't pushed him back enough to drain his manpower and fuel income, the ISU-2 is the second most expensive tank in the game.

Agreed, with the slight cost increase IS-2 is fine. Problem is people expect the Panther to be the 1v1 champ still, and now that he is not, people are angry and calling for nerfs.

Just vet your tanks, keep them supported, and make sure he wastes his 600mp/150 fuel on a pile of wreckage

What I don't like is that you need a bloody nuke to kill the freakin wrecks... you can't even run them over with a KT for pete's sake

yeah the wreck problem is an issue and pretty serious in some circumstances, when you add the wreck salvage ability for mechanics it became ever more problematic.

The IS2 shouldn't be limited in any way, with the cost increase it's fine and I really do like the fact that the german armour has something serious to deal with.
