[2.10] Red Tide ability doesn't go away

Guys, I'm really angry right now.

I just lost a game because the enemy activated the Red Tide ability but the effect never goes away. So basically I'm left with dealing against a bunch of invincible infantrymen. You really need to release a hotfix for this because it's getting more and more frustrating and completely breaks the game. Replay here:

As a point: you can kill them with tank guns, snipers and arty. I know it sucks to loose against abuse, but maybe this will help you until we release the fix :)

FOR FVCK'S SAKE YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU? I'M LOSING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY GAMES BECAUSE I'M AGAINST A BUNCH OF INVINCIBLE ENEMIES. THEY CAP ALL THE FVCKING POINTS AND JUST STAY THERE. THERE IS NO WAY TO "KILL THEM WITH TANK GUNS SNIPERS AND ARTY" IF I CAN'T ACCESS THEM.

The mod team can only do so much. :P We're in the middle of a few projects, so don't expect a fast patch (please let the code team surprise me ;))

Look, I understand that you guys are busy. But this is a fucking game-breaking bug. And I doubt that it's gonna take them that long to fix. Especially since this is an utterly game-breaking bug. I've got squads of Landsers owned by a single squad of conscripts SIMPLY BECAUSE THOSE FUCKERS WON'T DIE.

Basically, what you're doing is seeing someone getting raped, and instead of doing something really helpful, you just tell them to take it in the ass because you're so busy and so is everyone else.

Listen, there's no reason to continue complaining.  If we can't get to it, we can't get to it.  There's other stuff you can do other than playing this mod - either enjoy the better parts of it (like the Soviets) or play another mod.

You say that because you've never been on the receiving end of this bug. Knowing how long the devs take to release full patches, I doubt that I, or anyone could really wait that long. If there's one thing I don't trust you guys on, it's release dates.

Have you heard of a hotfix?  Yea.  They come quiet often.  Just look at the changelog forum.  But like I said - JUST WAIT.  There's a limit to how fast a team of modders can work.

Hold the fuck up. I'm the only one allowed to rage on the forum. Don't try to steal that from me  :P. But you also can't come out of the middle of fucking no where and start screaming at the devs like that. Thats just straight disrespectful. And rude. I know alot of the devs are cooler headed than myself, but I think you owe them an apology. You know they have things to do. This isn't there job. They are volunteering their time for this mod. They could be doing things 50x better, with their skills. And 100x more financially rewarding. So screaming and bitching "Devs fix this now! Cause you have no other things going on in your life!" Just makes you look like a massive cunt.

Yes. The glitch is annoying. But so's the fact that the ISG for ostheer is so overpowered, in the current beta patch.
IN OTHER WORDS: BOTH SIDES HAVE ABUSABLE SHIT THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THATS WHY ITS ANOPEN BETA as a person playing the mod you have to get over the imbalances. Reprt them. Report bugs. We'll get to them.

Yes, I think that I probably do owe them an apology. But please do understand that I was very angry last night because I lost a game that I could've won if there wasn't this bug. And to be frank, no matter how OP the ISG is, at least their units are killable. Anyhow here is the apology:

I'm sorry devs for being a cunt last night. When the fix for this bug comes out, you'll be sure that I'll donate some money to you guys.

We are working in the next patch, but there are things needed to address before releasing it... if after taking a few days to release it we screw up some stuff, just imagine what would happen if we just rush it.

And we have rushed patches in the past, and they weren't good because we needed to release a hotfix after them.
