Maybe im in the wrong forum, but is it possible to export units / vehichles from CoH to 3ds max?
Is there any tutorial on this?

Mors Indecepta

Might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything. Let alone yourself...

Yah, check bishops link. One of the things that confused me when I started working with importer/exporter was that if you want to get models from COH into 3ds Max you have to "import" if you want to get models from 3ds max into the game you have to "export" :P.

thank you for the info!

-downloaded the Mod Studio and the import script.
-overwrote with the Corsix_RGM_Import.ms with the 2009+ version.
-in the ModStudio I extracted the tiger_ace folder from the Eastern Front mod.
-I copied the folder to the WW2 folder (I don't know if its important, but I saw it in a tutorial video. It would be good to know if the folder must be in the WW2 before I run the script in 3ds max)
-loaded the script in 3ds max but it stopped at line 1359

Code: [Select] [nofollow]
diffusetex = undefined(), -- undefined() will set the texture to 'none in the ME. Other wise we will get undefined errors
with the following error:
Quote
--Type error: call needs function or class, got: undefined

maybe important:
I have 3ds max 2009 64 bit. If i use the original Corsix_RGM_Import.ms 3ds max just loads, and nothing happens, on any activity it crashes- That's why i overwrote with the newer version.
