I was wondering this too, especially since they listed Prokhorovka as a map to be added for the Ostheer. I thought that meant they changed the map but instead it no longer exists. Maikop kinda looks like actual Prokhorovka but Maikop was a different battle altogether so I would like to know the answer to this question as well.
That's pretty close to what really happened actually:
Initially, the map called Maikop right now was planned as "Stalingrad Steppes" but soon renamed to Maikop due to the fact that I supposed to create a map with oil fields and oil derricks. Because the latter were responsible for enormous lags though, I decided to switch the location one more time: The map layout reminded me of Prokhorovka and thus I had a look at historical maps of the battlefield like it was in Summer 1943. Since then, the map officially should have been known as Prokhorovka and I decided to replace the old Prokhorovka map by Rudi61, which was of rather low quality.
And here goes the problem: Instead of taking over the old localisation key of Prokhorovka, I changed the Maikop scenario name and description in the localisation which was changed back by someone, I don't know who.
Thanks for reporting this, will be fixed for the upcoming patch!
PS: There's still an oil derrick hidden on Prokhorovka.. whoever will find it will receive a reward from me
