Honestly, I hope it won't be like CoHO. The hero units and especially pre-commander selection are something that took something away that was unique to CoH.

Dann88: Do not post offensive or insulting posts, nobody is waiting for someone to make a pointless reply to their topic, no matter what it is about. Nothing about this question is stupid, nor it being a demand.

Besides, if you balance is well, it is very well possible to create a more lethal weapon system which wouldn't make the game a total slaughter or make tank x ruling the battlefield.

However as Burro said, EF isn't a normal mod, we try to be an unofficial expansion pack, which adds the soviets and soon ostheer on a vCoH way with vCoH balance.

If you can provide us with modified wreck models that don't look like a completely burned out wreck then we could think about this. However, we currently have enough models to make and redo.

The main problem with creating realistic tank combat in Company of Heroes, is that the engine doesn't support armor values like thickness and angle. That also results in guns not having real penetration power, but rather penetration modifiers against the different vehicle types ingame.

If you try to implent this as far as it's possible, things get all messy and extremely random. Definately not something EF is going to add.
