hi i´ve got a problem with getting skins to work in coh
at first i have to say that i have vista and the skinpack i wanted to install is called " Halftracks- OF-skins preview"
When i wanted to install i opened ww2->data->art at my pc ( it had no files in it what surprised me because i thought i had to delete the vanilla skins) than i installed the skinpack by copy+past
but when i started coh the soldiers had just the old vanilla skins
can anybody tell me what i´ve made wrong or give me a link for a skininstaller ( i searched for my own but just found one which isn´t of-tov compatible )

Due to their lack of strategic thought and tactical planning and the abysmal war crimes committed by the Waffen-SS, which caused allied soldiers to fight even more ferociously against these mass-murderers in uniform, they constantly suffered substantial losses during their actions on the battlefield. Don´t forget that the Waffen-SS was an elite unite and don´t mix them up with the normal SS or the SD. And you should also not forget that the SS got a huge respect of their enemys for their bravery in combat. Zwangsarbeit (Forced Labor) – MP can be exchanged for Fuel/Ammunition at a 10:1(?) ratio. (Maybe Totenkopf-Kampfgruppe required on the field?); Zwangsarbeit and Totenkopf-Kampfgruppe may be exchanged, increasing Totenkopf-Kampfgruppe's effectiveness. If you start saying the SS committed war crimes and that it should be shown in coh-ef then i want that the war crimes which were comitted by russia, america and great britain should be included too- same rights for everybody But: e.g., Guards, Commandos and Rangers fighting the Totenkopf-kampfgruppe, get bonuses against them Why?

Ok, lets calm down. good idea  I dont hate GERMANS. and i don´t hate russians, one of my best friends is a semi-russian Yes, I remember that war, wich was started by germans, and I know abiut retreat of russians all the tuime, and I know that the only success was a Brusilov's attack raid just before russian capitulation just before revolution. I dont know about any russian actions in Eastern Prussia, because all Polish lands and Baltic land were occupied by germans extremly soon after war started. And hundreds of officers, originally with german roots, traited russian army, and surrendered with all their regiments.
Reasons for ww1 were a little bit more complex. If you say you just know about russian retreats until the Brusilow offensive then google " Battle of Tannenberg" or something like that. And could you explain why whole regiments surrendered just because their officers had german roots? I am not a communist at all. I know about crimes of communists against my OWN NATION not from propaganda books, but from my grandies. I think, if You in the West will hear about "death-deserve crime" if somebody will JUST stole several grains to feed his family and be shot for it by commisars - You will laugh or wont beleive. But it was truth. Mother of my grandfather, together with 3/4 of his village in southern siberia - died from hunger in late 30'th, because commisars took all the food (some of that food were sold to germany too, in exchange to factory equipment and other technology). People had to boil grass and even boots to eat it, just to survive! Dont tell me what is communism! First of all: i feel sorry for your mother´s grandmother and her village. An "exellent friendlyship", isnt it?
search in googel for Hilter-Stalin-pact or Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. You say Stalin didn´t gave Hitler wood? ok... Hilter attcked Russia with Stalin´s oil. Which takes me to the last point: Stalin played his own game, as master of puppets, and Hitler was a puppet in 1939 in front of the RedArmy fiorce. There is something you maybe don´t know: Hitler wanted the war with russia a very long time ago. you can find proofs for this in his book "Mein Kampf". And if Hitler was a puppet of Stalin than i have to ask: why couldn´t Stalin´s army stop the Whermacht until the winter came?

For me, even if not 2 but 20 millions of german females were raped to death by our soldiers in 45 - that was not enough to revenge for all that axis done with my country.
We left germans theyr lifes AFTER ALL THAT THEY DONE WITH US - artillerist,remember there was a war before ww2, called ww1? in this war the RUSSIANS came first over the borders to germany in 1914. Germans hadn´t done ANY warcrimes to russians before but when your army came to eastern prussia you started rapping and killing our women. some of your artillery-battalions run out of ammunition while shooting into fleeing civilians. so after all- you make me say something i´ve never said before: it was good from Hitler to attack Russia and killing all those people, because Russians deserve nothing else like that and now tell me what do you think of mine now? i know it: " this fucking fritz is talking bullsh*t , he´s a fucking Nazi , my opinion is the only one which is right." don´t you? because i thought nearly the same when i read your comment. ( just exchange fritz with Ivan and Nazi with communist). but very soon i calmed down and asked myself why do you hate us Germans so much? the times that Russians and Germans were enemys are long gone- and we Germans don´t feel much hate against Russia. By the way: the only reason why i´ve written: it was good from Hitler to attack Russia and killing all those people, because Russians deserve nothing else like that was that i wanted you to feel the way i feel when i read your posts. Couse every time i read your comments i feel a big hate against communism, Russia , the red army and all the things you stand for.

an very good concept with some nice ideas ( especially for veterancy- it would be cool to see the medals at the units after tehy have received them) but two thing you should change: 1. when i build a building (e.g. the blitzkrieg barracks) i get only one unit and then i have to research and research and research for new units- that costs time, time wich a oh player don´t has while the russians are spamming conscripts 2. As said before every lost vehicle results in decrease of fuel income according to the origin:
Tier1: -1 fuel/min.
Tier2: -2 fuel/min.
Tier3: -3 fuel/min.
Doctrinal: -3 fuel/min.
This loose can not be regained, but is limited to -20 Fuel/min. and could not be less than zero. Minimum Fuel flow should be always guaranteed to +5 Fuel/min. after applying the minus score. This means if player has +30 Fuel/min. and has penalty -20 Fuel/min., he receives still +10 Fuel/min.. If he has only +20Fuel/min. income and same penalty -20 Fuel/min., he will still receive +5 Fuel/min. regardless.
in longer lasting games the oh will get steamrolled by any other faction because it can´t build enough tanks to counter the enemy tanks

why shouldn´t the ostheer be able to pick up russian weapons and to recrew their own weapons?
just because the russians can´t?
the developers solved this problem with making russian weapons cheaper and giving them more man to their crews- but you don´t do so- you just give the ostheer an unnecessary disadvantage.
why do you want to give the infantry just the Pzb39? they NEED the Panzerschreck against the is2 and the t-34
at mid-game the oh hasn´t got anything against the t-34 except of the 7.5 cm pak

when i read this i had to stop for a while, because as a german i have to ask myself: for what?
ok they have "liberated" us from Hitler.
i write "liberated" because in eastern Germany they build up just a new totalitarian regime.
And if somebody tells me now something like "the allies wouldn´t have the war without russia " I tell him: " Look waht happened in WWI". The point is that the USA could build their ships, planes, and tanks faster than the germans could destroy them- russia just throw waves and waves against the german front till it collapsed.
And again i ask my question: for what should I thank USSR?
Shuold I say "thank you" to the russian soldiers for:
-raping 2 Million german woman and girls ( some of them were younger than 6 years)- 240.000 died after the rape
-banishing 12-14 Million Germans from their homes
-bringing german POW´s to Siberian Gulags which were mostly like the German KZ´s (just without the Gas-chambers)
These are the reasons why i´ll never say "Thank you USSR"

The 25% fuel bonus is way too low, and if it only works on one sector your likely to get as little as 6-8 fuel points at a cost of 50 munitions. Would be best to either triple the fuel from one point or make it 25-50% of ALL fuel points. Even though it is only a transfer of equivalent munitions to fuel, and is really not that much of a bonus/reward to the Ostheer player when compared to all the first few Allied abilities.
I like the concept of a Tiger Ace, but the cost is way too high, I 'd be much better off building two panthers, and the whole point of these CP points are to reward the player. This however seems more like just an alternative unit. If it can only be called in once, how about reducing the price to 700-1000 manpower, if not then lets reward the player by letting it be recalled if destroyed
As for the elite troops, it sounds just like the blitz doctrine stormtroopers for a higher cost but without the cloak ability or Knights cross without the automatic Mp44 upgrade. So perhaps these ones could have something slightly different (especially for their higher cost), like being able to throw a munition free greanade once every minute, or being able to upgrade to a flamethrower, (making them good urban fighters etc) absolutly my oppinion. when i read thruogh the 1st doctrine i asked myself why i should play ostheer with this doctrine, while the wehr gives me mostly the same but cheaper and better

Hi i´ve got a problem with installing coh -op
when i click on "install" in the menu the red banner "disigned with DemoShield" pops up but than the installation doesn´t start.
i had coh-op on my pc a few weeks before, than i´ve deleted it- it ran without problems before and i haven´t changed anything on my pc

wasn´t it once mentioned that the "street-warfare" doktrine (or how is it called?) is already good enough so partisans wouldn´t infiltrate? and why can they move while they are camouflaged? just snipers can do so- i think this would be a little bit imba

the 88 was the in the early years one of just a few weapons that could beat the russian t 34/76- never ever leave it out for the ostheer
