Hi everybody!

From my knowledge (I am very interested in military history), there is a paradox with soviet paratroopers: before the war, the Soviet Union was a visionnary in this field: in the early 30's, Soviet marshals (I don't remember the names I'll look for it later) had seen the tactical potential of such units; So before the war, there were complete divisions of well trained russian paratroopers, a long time before Germany, UK, France or the US interested in this. The paradox is that during the great debacle at the beginning of the "operation barbarossa", after some failed attempts to create bridgeheads behind ennemy lines, and after whole units were slaugthered by german panzers after being surrounded right after landing; the Soviet military commanders decided not to use these units anymore.
(even if sometimes, soviet paratroopers had some success in small scale mission, on a tactical level, furthermore this is accordant with the worldwide paratroopers history).

This is mainly due to Stalin's Great Purge of 1937-1939, where many of the Red Army's top innovators and commanders (such as the Head of the Red Air Force and Marshall Tukhachevsky) were outright executed. And the remainder were either incompetent or unwilling to truly innovate for fear of suffering the same fate.

That's pretty cool  ;D, but I have a couple questions because that sounds pretty weird.

Was the T-34 at full health?
How long did it take your Kugels to take it down?
Was it a T-34/76?
And how much health did your Kugels lose?

1) When I saw it happen, the T-34 was at 50% health. But it could've started happening before I saw it. I left my Kugels in that place for a while.
2) It took them around a minute.
3) Yes, it was a 76.
4) Both started at full health. One was down to about 30% while the other was still at full because it wasn't being shot at.

Yesterday, my 2 Kugelblitzes literally owned the shit out of a lone T-34 without taking any casualties. That poor Russian tank was literally being turned over by the impact of those 30mm cannons it was pretty hilarious to watch. Unfortunately I didn't take any screens. :(

I'm not complaining that much about it because I kinda feel that the T-34 deserved it: its rear armor was facing my flakpanzers and it didn't try to move or anything.

But I'm still wondering: is that suppose to happen?

I hear this. Also Soviet AI NEVER uses T-34's at all. Makes getting beatuepanzers impossiable when fighting them.

Really? I came up against a couple of them during my games. But only one at a time so they really weren't a threat. My panzerjaegers, T4 heavy tank and even Kugelblitz easily tore them a new one.

The biggest threats are SU-76s for the moment. They've got pretty good range and penetration and AI seems to love to spam them.

Second class citizens, really? Well "peons" I'd have suggested that you place this in the general discussion or strategy's forum, compared to the replay forum. As you should be posting replays here not strategy.

Remember how angry you were at SSonne for releasing that compstomper map? That's why I say second class citizens. :P

Anyhow, here's some of my stuff to counter the massive Soviet armor onslaught:
3 Panzerjaeger squads. I use to go for 2 squads but then noticed how 3 squads is way more effective than 2. Despite the high cost, I always make sure that they have their 2nd schrecks upgraded. Nothing can survive 6 Panzerschrecks. This makes my Panzerjaeger group very expensive so survivability is more important than anything else. That's why I retreat them everytime I think that they are in danger of being destroyed. Ideally, I provide them with some form of escort, but that isn't always possible. This group will probably be the ones who'll gain veterancy the fastest due to the sheer amount of tanks they'll destroy. That's why I prefer the mechanic upgrade because it'll give me a group of hardy repairmen in no time, which can quickly repair all my heavily damaged tanks, without the need to spend the time and money to build those paper Famos.

A good complement to that squad is a Panzer III. While many people argue that they are weaker than the StuG, I actually prefer the Panzer III because it has a turret and is pretty accurate on the move. Especially with the 50mm L/60 upgrade. They can do well against that one or two heavily damaged tanks that managed to get away from the slaughter.

This is how I manage to go through the most "crucial" step of the game.

Yes, I think that I probably do owe them an apology. But please do understand that I was very angry last night because I lost a game that I could've won if there wasn't this bug. And to be frank, no matter how OP the ISG is, at least their units are killable. Anyhow here is the apology:

I'm sorry devs for being a cunt last night. When the fix for this bug comes out, you'll be sure that I'll donate some money to you guys.

You say that because you've never been on the receiving end of this bug. Knowing how long the devs take to release full patches, I doubt that I, or anyone could really wait that long. If there's one thing I don't trust you guys on, it's release dates.

The mod team can only do so much. :P We're in the middle of a few projects, so don't expect a fast patch (please let the code team surprise me ;))

Look, I understand that you guys are busy. But this is a fucking game-breaking bug. And I doubt that it's gonna take them that long to fix. Especially since this is an utterly game-breaking bug. I've got squads of Landsers owned by a single squad of conscripts SIMPLY BECAUSE THOSE FUCKERS WON'T DIE.

Basically, what you're doing is seeing someone getting raped, and instead of doing something really helpful, you just tell them to take it in the ass because you're so busy and so is everyone else.

As a point: you can kill them with tank guns, snipers and arty. I know it sucks to loose against abuse, but maybe this will help you until we release the fix :)

FOR FVCK'S SAKE YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU? I'M LOSING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY GAMES BECAUSE I'M AGAINST A BUNCH OF INVINCIBLE ENEMIES. THEY CAP ALL THE FVCKING POINTS AND JUST STAY THERE. THERE IS NO WAY TO "KILL THEM WITH TANK GUNS SNIPERS AND ARTY" IF I CAN'T ACCESS THEM.

1) No picture for Ostheer! :(
2) For the Wespe, it says that it uses the 150mm sFH18 while it actually uses the 105mm leFH 18.

Guys, I'm really angry right now.

I just lost a game because the enemy activated the Red Tide ability but the effect never goes away. So basically I'm left with dealing against a bunch of invincible infantrymen. You really need to release a hotfix for this because it's getting more and more frustrating and completely breaks the game. Replay here:
