Hey, cool new patch guys, i really like the way the ostheer got cleaned up. A few bugs/strange things i noticed from playing the first few games:
- [german version] Tooltip for IG-barrage missing - [german version] Tooltip for Elite-Doctrine Arty-strike missing - [german version] Outdated tooltip for Landsers - [german version] Left and Right Tree for fortress doctrine dont have names - medic vet seems to be gone (assuming that the thing with a crane as a symbol and the medic tooltip is logistic. Else medic does not give medikits) - [german version] Logistic vet uses tooltip for medic vet - Panzerfussilers cant dig holes anymore? - Landsers dont seem to get a Mkb42 from the update, as stated in the update tooltip

can we get infos like weaponstats and targettables and some Numbers on doctrine boni (like Fortress Doctrine cover Buff or Elites exp increase) and from somewhere? It would be cool to have something like COHstats.com for EF!

Maybe it would help swapping around the units in tier 3:
As i see it, Luchs+Marder would be a quite usefull offensive combo, while in a defensive position, when i already invested in LeIG and HMGs i want the PaK instead of Marder. So if T3 had like Luchs and Marder on Assault and could still get both with one modernisation it would be a quite attractive vehicle rush strat, while Paks+Panzerwerfer on the other modernisation (not depending on the first one) where really good if the frontlines are frozen. This has also the advantage that u can finetune the timing of the vehicles by separetly changing the fuel cost of both upgrades. Panzerwerfer would and Paks would be out a bit faster, but i cant imagine that to be a really big problem. If it is, just increase the modernisation costs.

Hi Guys,
I got a new problem since about a week or two: every time i start CoH (no matter if EF or vCoH) and click on multiplayer in the main menu or try to join a game via steam, my CoH istantly crashes.
I have tried fixing local datas via steam, that did not work. Also the issue did not occur at the same time as the new steam version, i was t first able to play a few games after the EF-steam Patch came out.
Suggestions?

Regarding the Base-or-no-Base question: I know from similar mods in WarIII where on side has to spam down a few heros of the other side, that it can be quite annoying to lose whole armys and dont see any effects and the "Hero"-side is much more fun to play. So i guess there wont be too many Players who want to play Axis in OTH.
Regarding this, if u give allies a base i guess it would be much simpler to add a AI, maybe the normal AI would work without bigger changes. (I dont know what CoH-AI does if you just lock some Units).

If the Tigers wanna survive isolated in enemy territory the have to ambush enemy convoys or they will run out of supplies before being able to fight till death, so its not that unreal.
I would suggest replacing the Panther-turrets with 17-Pounder as there are brits in there and its much more appropriate if the allies use their own weapons for base defence.

What about adding a reward fraction similar to RMC to the US?? This could contain Shotguns for engineers or rifles and some improved tanks in contration for weaker infantry (Improved costs and worse capping ratios)

About Bergetiger: IIRC there were only a few real Berges in WWII but often normal Tigers were used for recovery, as it was much saver for the crew to sit in a Tiger than in a recovery-halftrack. So what about a in-field-modification: Every Tiger has an ability to become a Berge, (not magicaly changing the model, maybe just add Berges crane to the rear of tigers turret, maybe as a Gunupgrade like for Hotch and sherman) disableing the Maingun and making it very vulnerable, but being able to revive an Ally. Modification takes ~15sec and u cant move while modifying and the same for demodifying, makeing u a normal Tiger again. If Allies kill a Tiger they get their extra Victorypoints, no matter if it is recovered later or not. This would make the tigerwrecks to highvalue strategic Tagets, as the Axis lose much of their strength if not recovering an ally, but they´re vulnerable to allied ambushes if the do.

KV-2s are slow. AT guns, and I'm sure most tank guns outrange them. Most tanks outpace even their turret rotation. You just need to up your game 
U can easily circle the one KV u fight in PvP, but circleing AIs 5 KV-Blob is just impossible. Guess a Limit of 2-3 wouldnt hurt anyone regarding PvP.

the only Unit that really needs a hardcap imho is the KV-2/SU-122. For all others, the same fix that seem to work for Puma should be enough. A hardcap on Storms or marine-inf would actually quite stupid as they are meant as standart units and would strongly change the PvP balance

Hi,
Just wanna give a feedback and some suggestion to 1.4 AI
SU: SU AI now seems just too spam there doctrinal units. I had games vs. 3 SU where i saw 0 T34 in 2h.
Propagnda-strategy is just spamming naval infantry (and Katushas later). Nothing else. Sometimes not a single vehicle in a whole game. While it is sometimes fun to fight just inf vs inf, it is far too easy to beat if you use vehicles.
Urban Warfare is spamming far too much KV-2 and SU-122. You can easily counter a KV-2 (SU-122) with circeling, but try this vs 5 KVs^^. Even with the same amount of "Animals" you will have heavy losses. I guess hardcapping KV and SU to 2 on field won´t hurt anyone in PvP, but making UW much less annoying and forcing AI to build more balanced Armys.
Breaktrough is the best (not meant as "strongest") SU AI atm, but they are now using maany SU-76 while they used (as all russian AIs) T-34 in 1.3. This means they are stronger vs Tanks but can do few vs Inf.
So, pls Devs make SU AI build more versitale armys again. (And hardcap KV^^)
Wehr AI now really spams less Pumas.... They spam Stugs now. Its quite ok for stugs, but if they use Geschuetzwagen (the reward unit, dont know what its called in english), half of their armys are those things, which is quite useless vs Inf-spamming, leaving the AI quite chanceless. Maybe it is possible to make them spam Pz IV and Grens if they need to spamm anything.
