Alright now, lets know what were talking about before we diss Reborn's patch list.

IS2 has 1500 health. A reduction of 10% leaves 1350 health.

A tiger's health is 1064.

And the IS2 is non doctrinal and cheaper. It deserves a health decerese.

When i make a balance post, i try to cover it from all angles.

I barely stray from 1vs1 automatch personally, but it is still a legitimate point.

The same logic applies to 2vs2s, which i know people would like balanced.

Imagine 2 IL-2 runs coming like clock work on rails and metal?
Can you say, "1/4 the map shutdown?"

What's the consensus on this?

Cooldown, may be fine. Could be a tad longer, and the frequency of planes comming onto the map should deffenatly be reduced.

Bombing runs are strong. There's a reason that the US pays 250 munitions and it drops smoke so you know it's comming.

A free russian ability that frequently puts out 1200+ munitions worth of aerial death, and with those congested maps you gave us + the numbers of Soviet units to act as spotters, there is on most occasions, absolutely no place to go to avoid this.

This affect is compounded when more than one player is playing breakthorugh doctrine.

4 IL-2 runs at the same time is fucking broken. It's just fucking broken.

It cant be this good. With the other factions, you can stop the usage of their high muni end tier call ins by restricting munition income, but there is NO way to prevent the Soviets from calling on their IL-2s.

discuss.. IMO, plane frequency needs to be toned down.

they made it so the mechanics can recover wreaks, where the is2 used to be able to bunker in...they are toying with changing it again, any ideas of what should be in place of wreak recover for breakthrough strat?

maybe a "blitzkrieg" type ability? Anything but wreck recover.

PE needs it, their vehicles are paper. Soviet armor is cheap enough to buy over and over again.

Also, do russian infantry supply dead bodies for medics to pick up?

I looked in the RGDs and it says for conscripts...

Maximum death time = 40
Min. death time = 30
Splat_seconds_after_death_or_rescue = 45

This says to me that cheapo russian conscripts can be picked up by medic teams and turned into expensive tommy squads and rifle squads.

I just had a game against 2 russians and one brit, and the brit's blob got very big, very fast.

Russian infantry are eventually supposed to die, so i dont know who's bright idea it was to make CCS's and Medic tents pick up a 150/200mp meat shield has to die in droves unit.

The synergy is too damn good. Make the russians die instantly instead of having them be wounded on the ground.
Only have the better russian inf. able to be picked up like Guards, and the command squad.

why not enable retreat, but just remove the button from the UI and the hotkey so they are unable to anyways.

Then propaganda should work.

IS-2 is due to be adjusted, I know. However the reload time you've desplayed isn't correct it's more like 9 which is why it fires alot slower than german tanks.


There might be another modifer at work then, to keep the post from getting to large, i just looked at the reload. It might have a wind up time but thats usually not the case with most tanks.

-Updated stats post. Was looking at the wrong 122mm gun
IS-2 Reload is 10 seconds.

In order to make EF work, I had to De-modify my vCoH, so now all my skins are the standard retail skins, which are butt-ugly.

Ive tried a few things to get them to work with online compatibility but nothing has worked so far.

(reinstalled skins to vCoh= no online compatability, and installing them into the EF art folder = no online compatability)

There is no art .sga file for me to modify, so im at a loss. Is there a way to get custom skins to work in this mod?

I was picking through the Mod's RGDs, and id like to point out some discrepancies between the heavy tanks. For those of you who dont know, RGDs are the game files and they NEVER lie.

IS-2 Statistics
Health: 1500 (lol, k)
Armor_type: pershing
Gun_type: d-25-t_122mm/150 dmg/ Reload Max/min: 10

Tiger Stats
Health: 1064
Armor_type: Tiger
Gun_type: kwk36_88mm/ 137.5/ Reload max/min: 6 seconds

Pershing Stats
Health: 990
Armor_type: Pershing
Gun: 137.5 dmg/ Reload max/min: 6 seconds

Panther Stats
Health: 742
Armor_type: Panther
Gun: 137.5 dmg/ Reload max/min: 7 seconds

Ok, now, what we have here is a buildable non doctrinal russian heavy tank that has at the least a 436HP discrepancy when compared to the Tiger

Yes, it has pershing armor, so you take it out as you would a pershing, but it's a buildable pershing, and it has 1500 Health



This is why the IS2 rapes hard.

It has twice the health of a panther and is legitimately cheaper to build. It has 100 more health than the ISU-152, the Soviet super tank, which has 1400 health and Jadgpanther armor. The Jadgpanther has 1600 health, and the KT has 2k health.

Lower the god damn health, it's a buildable pershing.

Either raise the price or drop the HP, but I would prefer both, b/c it far outclasses any heavy tank in the game.

I know the axis in the first game personally. O4b is lvl14 1vs1 automatch, he's no push over

2vs1 and the 1 russian wins?

lvl14 is quite bad.


Way to sandbag nimitz.
We all cant meet your godly standards, but at least lvl14s have some concept of the game mechanics at a competitive level.

Oh and show up if you decide to play in a EIR tourney next time, instead of wasting my time waiting for you all weekend.
