Do you have internet connection in the PC you installed EF?

Yes

Do you have firewall software and is configured to let EF_Launcher send requests?

Tried disabling the firewall and anti-virus software with the same result.

Do you use a proxy and is configured to let EF_Launcher send requests?

Not using proxy.

Just downloaded and installed, 2011_01_21_EF_Setup1.3.0.0_full_backup. When I launch EF I get the following error (Windows Error Report):

Eastern Front Launcher has encounter a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

-Running Windows XP SP3
-Running as an admin
-Running .Net 3.5
-COH is patched to 2.601

EF_Launcher_Log.txt (also attached):
