« on: September 06, 2010, 02:59:30 PM »Um Sorry for my English. Hehe. Our Malay-English are something like that,
Well at 1 time i was looking for Original Company of Heroes ( When they 1st launch ) Original cannot be find at all. All Pirated. Steam, Umm I use Steam before but i got confuse of using it. I know i have to use Credit Card but i prefer buying stuff when i get to see it and touch it before i purchase it.
Wow, please stop generalizing Malaysian English as being as terrible as yours. I'm Malaysian myself and even I find your English to be terribly difficult to understand. When you use words like 'Loongkee Guy', no one can understand you.
Well, In my country. Who will buy ORIGINAL? Even
The Singaporeans, Thailand people, Philipines, China, and Taiwan sure they mostly buy Pirated Games. Only the a handful of the Average will buy Original games, Some of the Rich People buy Pirated also. What to do? Even when the Death of MJ all DVD sellers sell MJ song! For like RM 10 = $ 3+ USD
As for your whole pirated games discussion, not every Malaysian or Asian purchase illegitimate games. My very first game was Warcraft 2 back in the day, and it's legitimate and all my games have been legitimate since. Perhaps your circle of friends are into software piracy. Almost every friend of mine plays legitimate copies of their games with the exception of 1 or 2 that pirates everything (it happens everywhere).
What's funny is you started a topic asking if there's any way to stop EF from getting pirated, but you purchased the pirated copy yourself to test it (and maybe play it?). The first step to stopping software piracy is to stop buying them and report those fraudulent sellers to the authorities.
**Sorry EF community, I know this is my first post.
