Wouldn't a open beta be better than a closed beta? It seems like with a open beta you would get much more feedback, have a higher chance of catching bugs, and have a broader sense of what is in or out of balance. And it seem like a closed beta though im sure it can still be effective Is Limiting yourself for no apparent reason

It was operated by a crew of 11 man. Animate it and it might get in.

Probably a reason? You are not the first one to search Wikipedia for German Weapons in WW2. All three suggestion have no serious foundation and you didn't included an argument that might speak for including those units/weapons.

The pakk 44 was made to counter the heavy Russian armor with 122mm and 128mm cannons and was said to have seen use over 50 were made. ( some say 51 others say 55) so they were out there. It was towed with a opel Blitz and a 11 man crew!!! that would be a pain to snipe them off of that gun.

And The Luftwaffe drilling i suggested that because the Luftwaffe squads get smashed by literally everything!!!engineers, rifle man,  even at AT gun will pick off a couple. British destroy them very easily too.maybe they can beat non upgraded conscripts but that would be it. I'm not saying make them defensively stronger per say but they should at least be able to beat someone.

Its always a sad day when politics finds it way into anything.

And Cranialwizard your saying if the Ostheer even does get completed Company of heroes 2 will already be released? If so Then December 16th is the Day this Mod died.

If that is the case and its over hopefully whats done of OH will be released to at least give some satisfaction to the people who have been waiting Years for it.

With that being said the work that was put in is Very much appreciated.

I understand that to a sense but how unique can a faction truly be when they (at least in several scenarios) are taking an ability from one faction and giving it to others. such as (partisans appearing in any building just like fallschirmjager)  panzer elite treadbreakers and the at rifle. Luftwaffe strafing attack and the russian version of it. just examples. and i completly understand the balanceing aspect but but when the russians first came out i dont know if they had even had balancers at the time cause it would have literally taken one game to see how out of wack that was. So as long as it was balanced enough to have fun win some and lose some is 100% fine with me as im sure most others because it is impossible to have a true 100% balance in my opinion

Why is Ostheer taking so long? i understand its all volunteer work but so are Mods like Blitzkrieg,  Europe in ruins, Modern Combat. And it seems like they are always coming out with huge updates with units and vehicles Ive never heard even of before.
