One thing that I thought would be cool was to have it so that only the command squad may issue a retreat. For example, if you are massing a huge force and you simply send them in without a command squad, there would be no retreat option, but what if you sent in a command squad, suddenly, he could order a tactical retreat. This way, the Russians would still have that same "feel" to them, but they would also have a retreat option
