That one is not bad but I prefer the style of the joint-ops maps.

Mapping / Are there any EF holdout/survival type maps?« on: June 14, 2011, 12:05:32 AM »
My roommate and I are big fans of joint ops (and EF, of course!) and doing the maps like Omaha Beach and Sea lion, and other maps that they offer. We'd love to defend against some krauts as the Soviets.
I have some experience in changing the game files around, but little in mapping. I was hoping to start small, say... just changing the 1p hold out maps and hopefully the Operation Sea Lion multiplayer map. I would think that defending as Russians would be easier than changing the scripts to have Russian attackers. Has anyone done something like this? If not, is it possible to even do? Thanks 3
Tech Support / Re: How to play custom maps on EF?« on: May 31, 2011, 12:19:12 AM »
I'm not sure if I should have revived this thread or not, but this did not work for me.
To be specific, I am trying to copy the maps from the mod Joint OPs. Edit: Well, I got them to load by modifying the module file but it seems that there were too many changes with the recent 2.602 patch. All of them are frozen 4

I see that if people donate $15 they get access to the Beta, and I have also seen a few posts saying that, for example, the IS-3 is balanced. It also says that it is for a limited time offer.
My question is; if I donate today, can I still get access to the beta, I'd love to get in on some Ostheer action (and of course, balance testing) 6
Bugs & Tech Support / Re: Russians receiving less munitions?« on: April 24, 2011, 04:39:04 AM »
Ahh thank you. I took a CoH break for a while but just got back into it. I finally played a game where I didn't spam tanks and had no problem with munitions

Bugs & Tech Support / Russians receiving less munitions?« on: April 24, 2011, 03:49:52 AM »
I haven't been able to find if this is intentional or not, but while playing as the Russians I find myself with +0 munitions, even when I should be getting +40. Is this intended? It happens on every map, and while I haven't been able to pinpoint it exactly, a guess would be that it happens after researching something at the armory.
Answers appreciated, and keep up the good work guys! 8
General Discussion / Thanks for a great mod!« on: February 24, 2010, 04:29:13 AM »
I've been gaming for as long as I can remember and I don't remember ever playing a mod of this high quality (maybe modern combat mod for BF1942). I really appreciate the work you guys put into it and I want to offer some words of encouragement.
I hope you guys continue working on the Osteer faction, and take as great care with that as you did with the Russians. It seems like it has been harder and harder to find games lately, and I just want to play some more EF! Thanks again, and great job.
