Awesome to see that one of my ideas made it into the mod (choosing weapon after vet), its a great honor! :D

Well since there have been many request for Italian Army (wich was actually way to weak to be a own faction in coh) i thought of a infantry replace unit.
Volksgrenadiere -> Italian Riflemen (Or something like that)

I could think of making them a reward unit replacing the ability of double flamers (sniper ace/patistanz could be a option to). But i wouldnt make it available to prop. or tank doc. they are powerfull enough, in my opinion urban is a little weaker. So u get this call in unit (there could be a max of units on map like 2 or 3). And its as powerfull as the flamers making it depending on the strategie of the player (wich actually is the sense of the rewardunits), so either mgs or flamers...

WE: Motorrad -> Opel Blitz
US: Jeep -> M29 Weasel (could be used like the bren carrier in-game, only weaker armour maybe still same as jeep, it would also havie no mg, making it not same like Carrier)
PE: Aufklärungsfahrzeug (sry dont know name in Englisch version of Game) -> Pz. 1
Brit: Stuart -> Vickers 6-Ton, bren Carrier -> Daimler Dingo

Wll i somehow planed to try myself, in the mom i have plenty of time and im willing to learn about that editor ... so  lets see :D. But i think i will fail totally at the beginning.

Maybe its only me but im unhappy with the Stalingrad Map how it is at the mom. I would like more Houses, Ruins etc. instead of those industry buildngs and halls. Also it would be nice if the Rus. HQ would be at the border of the Wolga, with trenches surrounding it (remains of the tough defend of the docks). What really irritated me were the sand colored ground textures in the bases an some other places, they just dont fit, i would expect muddy ground with craters and remains like building rubble, furniture etc. I would have loved to see something like in the Film Stalingrad or Enemy at the Gates.

Well all my ideas would maybe need a complete new map, which maybe isnt what you planed.

I dont know if s1 posted something similar in here, i didnt want to read through all of the pages ;)
But how about a Campaign based on the Film Duell-Enemy at the Gates.

 Your Mission is to Kill the German Sharpshooter. You will only have 1 Unit, your Sniper Ace (Wassili Saizew) and have to eliminate serveral Targets, Officers, MG-Crews, Mortars... Well then you meet your Oponent (Scharfschütze König), and of course you have to eliminate him. Now so that it gets challenging König could get the health of a Captain from OF, he wouldnt be 1 shot dead like that. But you will have to watch for enemy soldiers witch could spot you, so you will have to move. Then wait until enemy sniper moves a tiny bit so you spot him (could be done by leaving camo for 1 or 2 sec). You have to fire out of cover otherwise you get uncapped (idk if possible).

Well only a rogh concept of a Campaign but maybe usable.

I need some help with a Panther model. I replaced the skin wich kame with the realistic skin pack and used one of Mr Scruff : http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=223969. Now i would like to know how i get that foliage to work.

Well the bergtiger is actually playable as PE (the Repair tank), its not a new tank. Jagdtiger is the new one.

Ok i gathered some of my ideas for this thread:

-A Veterancy system for the Ostheer a little like the PE one, only that the units can choose a weapon upgrade for each Veterancy Level they gain. For Example: a Volksgreanadier squad reaches vet. 1 now they can choose like 2 fg42 or 2 mp 44, vet. 2 now they can choose between 1stg44 and a Panzerfaust (only usable via ability), vet 3 choose between light mg42 and schreck.
Like this all Troops could be upgraded there only have to be done some stuff that could be able to add.

-A ability for all Ostheer inf. units that they can lock on a position. They get Health and accurancy bonus, maybe further sight, but wont be able moving first have to leave locked pos. again. That would be nice so ur units dont leave cover and will be better in defending positions countering russian spam attacks like this. it would also fit to the concept of the Ostheer to switch fast from attacking the enemy and to quickly defend the new captured land.

-medikit for all inf and supporting troops (including paks and mortars). It would be a free ability so no costs but a cool down time like russians have and the troops maybe could be unable to move and shoot while healing, because i think its not logic for troops to run in battle while beeing injured. Maybe they could also have a mobile Medic Tent, it would cost 3 - 5 pop and would be recruted from HQ, for example. It would be a 3 men squad of medics. They can heal units on the way pios heal tanks, so only 1 squad at the time. The set up tent has to be set down before moving, but could have the option of gathering wounded soldiers, healing in a small range around tent (could work over a cool down ability) and 1 squad could move in the built up tent. In the tent faster Heal rate, but low fire rate and accurancy for troops shoting out of the tent.

I would also think about Missions with verry few units because WW2 wasnt always a large slaughter ground. Sometimes there were also battles of small squads thet were on patrol and got suprised by the Enemy. So that in those Campaigns u have to watch over every men, avoiding losses. It would be battle more focused on strategy and not like who has more and powerfull units.

I only see one problem with that, if now a player spams conscripts the whole map will be filled up with Moisin nagant riffles lying arround. It could go on costs of performence and would be quite ugly to look at too. But besides that i like the idea.

First why do you complain no one says you u have to play this Mod with his stronger AI, and if u still want to play EF dont threaten the Devs with stuff that doesnt even make sence, respect their work!!!!!
