1. .50 cal upgrade takes same slot as dozer blade, so cannot be upgraded until the blade has been installed.
2. There's no option to lower the blade. I can't remember what the Crocodile hotkey is to lower the blade, so I couldn't check if that worked.

I just want to re-enact the Second Battle of Berlin in 1948, when the Soviets blockaded Berlin and the West (who had decided aerial resupply was infeasible) responded by attempting to reopen the land route by force.

That sounds more like a hardware issue, specifically your video card. Has any other game done that to you? Was your computer overheating?

As far as I can tell, packing and redeploying a mortar (i.e. moving it) removes Hold Fire. The only way to get Hold Fire to stick is to give a move order or hit halt, let it set up, then activate Hold Fire.

This is not an alternate history mod, stop trying to persuade us to turn it into one. No matter how many time this is suggested the answer will remain the same... no fucking way.
That must be why I can play as Soviets making a cooperative attack with Americans on German forces in Lyon. Because that happened in 1944.

Read the patch notes. The barrage ability now requires the mortar upgrade.

At least Patton and probably some other US generals were in favour of fighting the Soviets immediately after defeating Germany. The US Army and most likely the British and French had contingency plans in case of conflict with the Soviets in 1945.
Also, as I understand it, some German higher-ups had fantastical notions of an armistice with the Western Allies and fighting with them against the Soviets.

While maybe unbalanced, I think it'd be fun and interesting to play US/Britain against Soviets, or even US/Britain/Wehrmacht against Soviets.

Yeah, they definitely lose it when you take the KV-2 option. One thing I forgot to check was if it only removes cloak for new partisans. Something for my next comp-stop.

I just noticed this. At first I could cloak, then at some point I lost the ability. I'll do more testing and see if it's related to choosing the Sabotage command tree option.
