both with the same killing power. No, Commandos have more killing power than both ingenery and partisans. They also have A LOT more survivabilty, which allows them to kill even more. Since we're going to by bullshit "they're the same power because I said so", Riflemen have the same killing power as commandos. Oh my god US is OP! You have a tank that can come out 1 CP earlier than any other medium tank, and on top of that it can just roll into any base. 4 CP... churchill comes out at 3 CP is a heavier tank, Hetzer comes out at 4 CP and is a heavier tank. StuH comes out at 4CP and is a... different tank. The T34 is far from the only 4cp tank callin. Sure, it gets some SMG infantry with it, but it also costs more than any other. Rolling it into a base is no different than rolling a hetzer or churchill in. What you're asking for is that you get a T34 at 5cp, which would be the slowest medium tank callin, as opposed to it being in the middle. You just want the USSR to be made useless, don't you?

Oh hey, another one of your arguments to destroy. The Katyusha comes out 1 CP less than what all other factions mobile artillery comes out at. That's because in general it's a lot worse than other mobile artillery. The Double Flamethrowers are equivalent to Commandos and come out at 1 CP, HOW? Ingenery with Flammenwerfer cost 200/50/0, whereas Commandos cost 560/0/0. Ingenery have 4 men all of which are fragile. Commandos have 6 men which are elite. Ingenery have only two weapons that deal good damage, Commandos have 6. Commandos have smoke, commandos have grenades, commandos have gliders. Commandos have demo packs, too. They are not the same. and PARTISAN ARE COMMANDOES, and come out at 2 CP. How'd you come to this conclusion? They're still completely different. Partisans cost 300 and come out of a building. Their combat abilities are NOWHERE NEAR commandos... they have cloak and anti-building demolition charges... neither of which will help them in combat, they are a sabotage unit. Tank riders is basically an old school Blitzkreig Tier 2 Urban Assault Team and come 1 CP early as well. Tank riders is different from having a StuH and Sturmtruppen. It's also more expensive.

Vewt, you're underestimating two things - how dodgy the Puma is, and its cannon.
It all comes down to the T34's accuracy against puma.

On the subject of vet I really hate what they did with it. Using 'you pay for your vet' as an excuse.
There's only one said unit that you can "pay for your vet" for, and it gets completely different, unlike regular vetting up . Conscripts have 8 men and 0 pop, Strelky have 7/7, Guard have 6/6, all three have different 200 munitions upgrades (which is ridiculous by the way), and all 3 have different abilities/weapons.
And then they have no other units with vet. They just took the three similar-but-not-really infantry units and used them as an excuse to BS their way out of having USSR vet.
At least the Brits have units that gain vet and confer an equivalent to vet.

Hit a wehr/us sniper with anything and 340 mp down the drain... doesn't really makes sense what you say Are you seriously trying to compare a sniper's survivability with a mortar's and then tell me I'M the one not making sense? The sniper has cloak, the sniper can retreat, and the sniper can move regularly. The soviet mortar stays in place while firing, cannot avoid a threat, is fully visible, gives itself away from outside of LoS, as it fires... etc.

Bring up the t-34/85 upgrade then see what those puma's think then. I have no access to the statistics so I'm going off the assumption that the 85mm upgrade is the same kind of upgrade as the 76mm for the Sherman. In which case, it would do NOTHING. It wouldn't increase damage, and it wouldn't increase accuracy... it'd just increase penetration. And that's not where the T34 has problems against a puma. Pumas are hard to hit, not hard to pen. Plus it costs 200 munitions, compared to the significantly cheaper upgun for Shermans. Of course I could be wrong about all this but as I have no way of knowing what exactly the 85mm gun provides over the standard...

Actually they CAN build up to 20.
Heck they can build up to 10000000000000(add incredible amount of zeros here). I stopped reading your post because this is so stupid. I am not talking about the fact that they CAN build them. I'm talking about the fact that it's NOT A BALANCE ISSUE. If you let your opponent build up 4000+ manpower of conscripts (that's 20 minutes or so of building up conscripts and not losing any) then you are a camping 4v4 noob.

Soviet Mortars aren't recrewable. Hit them once with... anything, and it's 325 manpower down the drain.

I beg you to reconsider and not go for knee-jerk balancing, otherwise you will end up rendering the USSR useless. Give it time for strategies to develop.
Taking away the high starting resources will seriously hurt the USSR, who has no starting squad and already struggles everywhere that's not the beginning of the game. If you're going to kneejerk nerf this, then think of the consequences.
Right now the Soviets can't play lategame, which is fine if you give them earlygame strength. But as it is, if you nerf them now they cannot possibly hold the fuel and thus will lose the moment an Axis tank comes on the field. They have no mobile anti-tank... just a 57mm gun that cannot be recrewed, a 100 fuel tank that is worse than a StuG at killing other tanks, and a 150 fuel tank that has less range than comparable tanks (that are 40 fuel cheaper).
The only counter to all of this is their strong early game presence, which played properly can get a grip on most of the fuel. Take this away, and they are fucked beyond belief.
And.... you're going to make the one-time wonder heavy weapons that can't be recrewed even worse?
I will never look at Relic's balance changes in a negative way again. You never know how good something is until it's not there anymore.

I thought partisans used Ranger?
I had been wondering about the commander though, since there is no US counterpart to that,

It's actually quite likely that a Puma can take out a T34. T34s are inaccurate in general, Pumas are pretty much the hardest vehicle in the game to hit (except bikes), and the Puma cannon isn't a joke.

On the contrary, replays are a nigh-useless tool for balance discussion because of differences in player skill, which a balance discussion typically disregards by talking about the metagame.

Urban, flammenwerfer Ingenery is the best earlygame option available to the USSR right now.

If one of those replays showed you rolling over the other player like a tide and winning the game in 55 seconds... then yes, yes it would. So what you're saying is if I go run a game for you real quick against a noob and win in a very short amount of time, you'll use that as proof of US being underpowered and/or Wehr being OP? This mod is destined for failure. Insert Quote No, I'm not targeting you... I prefer the change to people saying that we've overpowered them. We're getting a lot of Axis players complaining about the Soviets just overwhelming them and I want to see, from a good Wehr players perspective, if its either because A. The Soviets are genuinely overpowered or B. That the people complaining about balance are just annoyed because they are poor players. It's B. And I guarantee you that any GOOD player you can find isn't going to seriously complain about balance on the first day like this. I guess I will be playing all day, until you guys destroy the mod by nerfing the Soviets as soon as the fucking mod is released. It would be cool if this was moddable, ala a real expansion. I would make a mod for good players in a heartbeat and in the meantime you could cater to the 4v4 annihilate high resource camp spam blob players.

I'd love to know what the hell they're saying! Imagine whatever their American counterparts are saying, and thus you have it. Ie Conscripts would be saying what Riflemen normally say. They didn't get any voice actors, all they did was take the American speech files of the Russian game and use them for the mod.
