Yes, the mod follows the general flow of vCoH - same tank/infantry combat. Sorry to hear that you don't like that. But I nonetheless enjoy it. The mod does give some better AI for the computers, although it's far from perfect. The game would be way too easy if more resources weren't given to it - it's just impossible to mimic human functions with pure code.

The "dead" bodies, like after a poor sap gets a sniper bullet through his brain, serves no further purpose to the game. Injured soldiers are part of the medic system, and thus will remain until they are deleted by the game or are picked up by a medic.
Not sure if it's possible to keep dead bodies, though I've yet to see it.

Far as I can tell, the last CoH patch (just happened a few days ago) fixed *this* mod.
Nonetheless, you can disable auto updates by right clicking the game on the left side of the screen, Properties, Updates, and change "Always keep this game up to date" to "Do not automatically update this game."

Would it be possible for it to take more than, say, 6 casualties to make a 6-man squad? Maybe you'd need 8 or even 10 casualties to get a free squad out of it, to save on the 2-class system.

The latest CoH patch broke every mod - we've no idea how to fix it ATM.

Hardly a failed update, updates on all games naturally break mods because things are changed around.

Yes, a new patch for CoH (from the CoH beta testing) went out yesterday. None taken.

Just about every mod isn't compatible with the new patch. So no luck there - hopefully it'll get hotfixed in a day or so.

Clearly none of you have been paying attention to some people's signatures.

I believe you can add a " -cheat" to the end of the target in an EF shortcut to get the Cheat mod activate, although that might just be the dev version.
Nonetheless, there is a new gamemode coming in the future that requires you to defend a town with whatever resources you have. It was pulled a few versions ago to go through some fixing and additions, and now it's getting close to a completed version. Not sure when it'll be ready, though.

Yes! Will it affect installed mods, btw?

We do see the PPS-43, which is an even easier-to-produce version of the PPSH-41 with a stick mag. It's seen on the Shock Infantry for the Soviets with Breakthrough doctrine and the Command Squad with the upgrade.
All I could tell is an aesthetic addition, it wouldn't be at the top of the list if it were decided to be put in.

I think his Ki, he meant AI.

Play pvp only. problem solved.
OK, that's just inconsiderate. Damn PvP elitists. I do both, and both are fine. For me, at least, the AI seems fine. Doesn't lag.

The AVT-40 couldn't handle the extreme recoil of automatic fire - it literally fell apart. So, me thinks that won't be a nice choice of weaponry for Yuri.
