[EF] Minsk (2)

Completely surprised by the German assault, the city of Minsk was one of the first major towns to be conquered in the German plan of attack. As 49 divisions of Army Group Center are about to come down on Minsk, the only hope for Soviet troops is to fight a series of holding actions in the outlying woodlands to delay the attacking Wehrmacht units. Every hour won allows the Red Army to evacuate more vital supplies and men.

At first: Map looks good, think a 2v2 would be much mor better Just put the other allied to the other side of the river and the axis near to the river (at the crossing).
Only my Suggestion. And is the 16 FUel Point only avaible trough the Bridge?
Would it be better if we could walk through it (bigger frontline) and put two or one way to the fuel like this ->

Mystic: Ich glaube, dass die Map dafür viel zu klein ist ;) Ich habe sie nach den Größen der Map Sturzdorf angefertigt ( 256x288 ). Aber ich gucke, ob i eine 2vs2 Version noch daraus machen kann.

Looks nice, best map of yourself ;)

Just some mapping tips for Rommel.

Ich find sie echt interessant, allerdings solltest du vll noch ein paar Büsche und kleine Bäumchen zwischen die Nadelbäume packen, dann wirkt es realistischer. Ich seh jetzt aufgrund der Distanz nicht soviel, aber unter nm_flora und nm_rural findest du noch ein paar schöne Splats um den Wald Wurzeln, Blätter und Dreck zu geben. Wenn du die schon nutzt brauchst das hier nicht lesen :D

Ich habe sie bereits genutzt ;) Es liegt Wurzelwerk und all sowas als Splat unter dem Walde.
Allerdings habe ich bewusst auf zuviel Buschwerk verzichtet. Der Grund: Zuviel Deckung^^
Dafür ist der Wald eben von ein wenig Gras durchzogen. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich an der Atmophäre noch gerne was drehen würde...allerdings hab i kA davon.
Jetzt kommen noch ein paar Blocker und sowas und dann ist die Map feddig!

Okay guys! Hope in a few minutes i will have a download-link for u ;)

Deine Entscheidung, ich hab lieber mehr Deckung und sowas, bei mir gibt es auch gerne mal Straßensperren und Sandsäcke auf den Karten. Aber ich werd mich freuen die Karte zu testen ;)

Ich glaube auch sie braucht ein paar mehr Deckung. Aber ich finde diese Map sehr gut.

Ja es ist ein bisschen zu hell. Besonders wann alle die andere Strassen sind dunkeler.

Öh packen sit einfach einfach über den Map Editor packen, gibt es ja oben im ersten Reiter ein Programm für. Save Package oder so.
Und das findest du dann unter miene dokumente\mygames\coh\data oder so

I tried to block the bunker. But if this doesnt work i will delet the bunker and replace it with an other objekt.

Jupp. You said the color of the road isnt quiet "real" and so i replaced the old road with
a darker road.  ;)

If he changend something of the state of that guns, it is impossible to mark them with the cursor.
Than you have to stemp the whole map, but the stemptool is broken  ::)

To get rid of "unselectable" entities on your map you can use this method:

1. Hover with mousecurser over the unit or emplacement that you want to delete.
2. Press ~ key (or one of the keys listed) to open the worldbuilder console *
3. Type "wb_orphan_nuke_entity" (without "") into the console

Note:

*
Different CoH versions have differnt keys to open the console.
It should be the key you use to open the ingame console but without the ctrl + shift

German version:  ö key
US version:        ~ key
UK version:        @ key
also in use for different localisation versions:
Tabulator key

and i would be very happy, when beta-tester can give a short summery of their impression espacally mapbalance and map atmosphere. thx for that!

I really liked playing this map.

However, the roads are a bit too contrasted with the ground. Perhaps if you could choose a more natural looking track?
