Title: ventrillo
Post by: dools on January 22, 2010, 12:47:00 AM
When the mod is open ventrillo becomes very delayed and sometimes the button you push to talk doesnt register.  Also to be able to talk wile in the game I have to hold down the button i use to talk in ventrillo while it is opening, if i don't you cant talk.  For me this is a big problem because my friends and I are always in vent.

I've tried with Teamspeak (3), and it works like a charm. Haven't tried with vent yet tho.

I have only tried EF with TS2.0 and it works if I use my keyboard shortcut "numberpad_/". However I have a mouse button bound to "numberpad_/" to talk, and it does not work if I have the Launcher, the Mod OR TeamSpeak selected. If I click on my desktop to "unselect" any of the applications, the mouse bind works. When I close the launcher, I can use my mouse bind with no problems.

To add, the voice activation feature works, no matter if I am running the launcher/mod or not. Looks like it has something to do with the mouse button bind.

Try run TS2 "AsAdmin"

I saw that you gave that advice before, I tried it but it does not make a difference.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, if you need more system information let me know.

As we have moved onto Mumble, I think all Vent and TS threads should be deleted or locked.
