EF, Soviet and Ostheer Soundtrack/Music Recommendation
« on: February 02, 2010, 07:35:17 AM »
A friend of mine did a soundtrack compilation which I uploaded on YouTube to show you, the community and the developers.

I've cut it into 3 parts, it's 30 mins. of music, I really recommend to listen to most of the music, there're great and less great songs, but most of 'em would match in the menu as a soundtrack and some would match in-game for Soviet and Ostheer as battle-/in-game music.

I hope you enjoy it and maybe you implement some of that stuff into EF.

If the developers want the soundtracks, I could upload the 30 mins. long .wmv and give you the download link.

Ofcourse if someone else want that too, feel free to "download" it from YouTube or ask me for uploading it.

Again: I hope you enjoy. :):

Its good, but there's too many vocals. I protested vocals in the beginning (although it didn't seem to work since Apex had the final say in everything... we saw how that worked out in v1.0 game balance which I also protested, rofl), and I'll keep protesting. vCoH has no vocals, personally the current music from 'Hunt for Red October' makes me want to vomit blood everytime I hear it... its corny and sounds like a Christmas carol.

I'm still holding out some hope that a genius will come along and make us some unique music.

RIP MrScruff and Loran Korn. Great guys, you will be missed.

vCoH has no vocals, personally the current music from 'Hunt for Red October' makes me want to vomit blood everytime I hear it... its corny and sounds like a Christmas carol.

Oh, come on, bro. It´s not THAT bad. As far as inspiration for a game goes, it works fine. At least in the menu, of course, vocals during game are just not good.

Yeah I actually agree. The hunt for red october is great.

Could use that song too. :)

I hope they can use these red army choirs for the campaign, it'd be so cool. If you can add them its great.  ;)

What about this:
Russian Red Army Choir - O Field, My Field (Polushko Pole)

Agree, in all history war is represented by deep, instrumentals, maybe a choir wouldnt hurt but surely no clear vocals. It ruins the mood.
